Describe about Lion™

The lion has 8 cm long teeth, they are the second biggest feline, the color is usually a light buff to yellowish, readdish, or dark ochraceous, and their stomach is a lighter color to some degree.
Male adult lions weigh about 330-550 pounds (150-250kg) and females 260- 400 pounds. (120-182kg) ( lions in south africa are 5% heavier than in East africa)

The length (including head) for males is usually 170-250cm.(5ft 7in.- 8ft. 2in.) and females is 140- 175cm (4ft. 7in.- 5ft. 9in.) The length of their tail may very from 2ft to 4ft, and is black. (except for white lions, those guys are really cool)
The males have manes, which is a bunch of hair stuff that goes from around the face and ears to their shoulders, they can be blond to black and darken over time.
So there you have it! For more info go to wikipedia, that's where I learned most of the stuff I know about lions. ;)
Lion's body is very powerful and it's 60% of weight is counted as muscles. It is a born fighter and the most powerful feline as well. His paw swipe is much more powerful than tigers & have the longest claws among cats (leopards are longest to their own size). Their modern canine size is in between 8-9 cm but ancient lion's fangs could be longer than 12 cm. The same thing to size, ancient lions were even 9.5 feet excluding the tail
As lions are social, they are the most intelligent cats and best fighters, the only cat that moves his head while fighting ( even when the blow wasn't taken) and apart from that, they are known to dodge their opponent by moving his head . This is why, probably that their swipe is so powerful, they must move their head or have a throwing-away paw with 11.2 or more cm claws on your head.
Although not the strongest animal, a lion is powerful in it's own right. The mane helps with bites, not bites and swipes as it was often known. A lion already completed the swipe problem and now biting. When a big hairy and dirty chunk of mane stucks in your throat, how can you bite anymore?Yes, lions mane does offer him protection but overheats. It doesn't slow down, It is only hair, hair is as light as a feather (maybe lighter) Yes, when a million of them are suck on you, they might slow you down a bit, but it doesn't change the total speed of lions 60-75km/h. Females are lighter than males so they are faster.
